Charlie's Update, A Life-Saving Screen Tip, and The Best Scoop Ever

Hi Reader,

Happy October! I love September and October, but mostly the beginning of October because September is still lingering. So, it's really September that I still love.

Charlie has also been enjoying the weather - posted this photo on Monday of him.

Charlie is doing well. We have continued to work with the homeopath in the UK, and it has been interesting to see the changes in Charlie since he started taking the remedies. I cannot tell you how much I WISH homeopathy were as well-known as taking Tylenol or Advil. In other words, something that is very commonplace. I saw Chiggy respond super quickly to homeopathy and still wonder if I had started it earlier with him, whether it would have made a difference in his longevity. I definitely feel Trigg's parting gift to me was to show me how homeopathy could help kitties. Therefore, this week's video focuses on homeopathy.

Hope you and your kitties are well.

Peace, love, and purrs,

Jenny

Maximus Feliciano – Ragdoll of the Week

"Max was 12 weeks when I purchased him. He was born on September 15, 2016. I picked him up in January 2017. I fell head over heels. He was my Christmas present from my husband. I finally got him to agree to a cat after much controversy. I had to do all the points of how good a cat breed this was; he wanted me to have a Himalayan. I had purchased a few books, one by Jenny, as I began to do my research on the breed. Max fit a Ragdoll temperament to a tee. He stood in my room for about 6 weeks when I went to work, like I read in the book. I named him Maximus because he is my greatest love, Feliciano because he brought me much happiness, it's on his doctor's records."

Hi Reader, Hope you and your kitty are well. Something happened this past weekend that took my breath away - I found Charlie sleeping in the sink upstairs, which is something that hasn't happened in about two years. To me, this was an excellent sign that he is feeling more like himself. I shared last week that I have been working with a homeopath in the UK with Charlie, and the last remedy he had (there have been several, including one that expelled liver flukes) helped to expel heavy metals....

Ragdoll kitten with a toy mouse

Hi Reader, Last week, I asked you guys what you thought about posting GoFundMe links on Floppycats. Thank you to all who took the time to write to me and respond with feedback. After reflection and also your insights, I have decided that I will not post GoFundMes or similar on the site or in the newsletter, unless it is a very special circumstance. I have decided this because: They make Floppycats feel less like a community and more like a place to ask for money. Opening the door to a lot of...

Ragdoll cat story

Hi Reader, A reader wrote me this week asking for help for her cat, Charlie. He is in the ER, and they do not know exactly what the matter is with him. She has created a GoFundMe-type fundraiser for him; however, I traditionally don't allow posts asking for money on the Floppycats Facebook Group or Page. For a few reasons: I'm concerned that posting fundraisers might: Make Floppycats feel less like a community and more like a place to ask for money. This leads to a drop in the fun cat content...
