But Charlie liked it so much that he started using it when I wanted to. So I ordered another. Charlie lays on it for about 3 hours a day. Goes upstairs in the early evening to lay on it. Comes down for dinner, then back up to lay on it more. Inside kitties don’t get the benefits of the Earth’s energy outside. So this could be great for indoor kitties. Although I can’t feel much when I’m on it, I know it works or he wouldn’t seek it out. What is a Grounding Mat?A grounding mat (also known as an earthing mat) is a device designed to connect your body to the Earth's natural electrical charge while you are indoors. The concept is based on "earthing," which is the practice of making direct skin contact with the surface of the Earth, such as walking barefoot on grass, dirt, or sand. Because modern lifestyles often disconnect us from this direct physical contact—thanks to rubber-soled shoes, elevated beds, and living indoors—grounding mats aim to replicate that connection. They are typically made of conductive materials, such as polyurethane infused with carbon or silver threads, and connect to the grounding port of a standard electrical outlet via a cord. When your bare skin touches the mat, the Earth's electrons are theorized to transfer into your body. Potential BenefitsProponents of earthing claim that absorbing the Earth's electrons can neutralize free radicals and stabilize the body's internal electrical environment. While individual experiences vary, commonly reported benefits include:

Hi Reader, I love September. It is my very favorite month of the year - however, our September in Kansas City this year has been more like the first part of August. I mentioned in my last newsletter that I coach high school field hockey in the fall. We travelled to St. Louis last weekend and man, if you add a hot artificial turf to very hot, it's something else. Like my cat, I typically love the heat, but I was pretty delirious in that heat. It was 101°F (38.33°C) - but artificial turf acts...

In the fall, I coach high school field hockey, so I am always running around with my head cutt off - luckily, Charlie is so comfortable now that he just sleeps from when we go inside to when I come home from hockey. It's pretty dang hot here right now and he likes to hang out outside longer than most would. 🎥 New Shorts for Your Entertainment When a Tree Limb Snaps Right Through a Bee Hive:...
