Hi Reader,

We got dumped on with snow. If you follow the weather, then you know the Midwest got hit with a bunch of snow. First, it was ice and then snow. I have posted a few photos - but recorded a bunch of video. Charlie has been outside for short jaunts A LOT in the last few days.

​Charlie on Snow Day! ❄️☃️

I really missed Trigg with this snowfall. Whenever it snows a decent amount here, I always let my cats outside at night (I go with them in my fenced-in backyard). Chiggy's face when I would ask at 11 pm if they wanted to go outside was THE BEST - like, "Really?! We get to go outside, NOW?!" I do this because it's fun and different, and also, I can SEE EVERYTHING because of the snow.

I am working on making paths for Charlie since we got around a foot of snow, so he cannot run through it but wants to go outside. In fact, on the day of the blizzard, he went out 4-5x with me as I shoveled every few hours. He is never allowed on my driveway any other time of year, but with NO CARS on the street, and at age 15.5, I let him have his thrills. The last time I recall it snowing this much was in 2013. And I let them run on the driveway then, too. They cannot run through the snow - it's too deep for their little bodies, so it's not really that risky.
