Hi Reader, Hope you and your kitties are doing very well. I am amazed that it's already halfway through July - as a kid, that meant it was time for summer camp, and it just doesn't seem possible. On Monday, a gal who does sound baths for cats came by and performed a sound bath on Charlie - a video will be available in a few weeks. It was a really neat and relaxing experience. I am excited to share it with you. She noticed pretty quickly that Charlie is "feisty" and thought that was cool because he is nearly 16 (on July 23rd). I told her that he's always been feisty. Speaking of fiesty, I have started to give him an herbal supplement that helps with anxiety before his subq fluids. I also switched the bathroom I give him fluids in. All because he bit me about a month ago, and I do not want to have more antibiotics because of getting bitten. I also switched the brand of needles I am using and tried putting a sock over his head, but he gets that off pretty quickly. Anyway, the fluids went well on Monday, too, which might have been due to the anti-anxiety herb or could have been the result of the sound bath earlier in the day. Whatever it is, I will take it. Hi Reader, Charlie and I went to the lake last weekend. It was nice to get away (I don't do that much these days), and get a swim in before summer ended.
