Hi Reader, I am outside with my cats as I type this newsletter. It's 11:14 a.m., and it rained a bit last night and is supposed to rain again in a few hours. We usually don't go out until 1-2 p.m. (when I have a break during my work day), but I always check the weather for Charlie. Why? Because I have to apply Tick Killz regularly to keep the fleas at bay for him in my yard. Yesterday, I realized that when we have a light rain (it was raining while I was trimming my hedges in my backyard), the ground stays dry under my hedges. Before then, I didn't know if it was a light or medium rain because the ground was wet. So, while I was a little annoyed that it rained yesterday while I was trimming my hedges (when it wasn't in the forecast for 5 more hours), I was grateful for the realization of how to tell the difference between light and hard rains for Tick Killz's applications. With Tick Killz, you only need to reapply if it is a heavy rain, so I'm putting it to the test right now to see if we will be flea-free after this jaunt outside. Chiggy (Trigg) always loves going out in the morning or later in the evening. Once we are in full bug season, I cannot do the early evenings as that is prime mosquito time - and I don't really like them getting bitten. I am really hoping the work we are doing with the Homeopath will translate into less extreme monitoring of the weather, etc. for me and a more comfortable existence for Charlie if exposed to fleas. Here are some recent Shorts - I always appreciate a view and a comment if you have time!

Hi Reader, May-July 2022, I reviewed the Air Doctor 5000 when we went through a bathroom renovation of my original 1940s bathroom. It was taken back to the studs, so there was a lot of dust, debris, and more. I was greatly concerned for Charlie and Trigg's health during that renovation, and I wanted an air purifier to minimize the airborne toxins they were exposed to. A friend I had met through Floppycats told me about them originally - telling me that they helped with mold exposure and more....
