Charlie the Cat vs. Parker the German Shepherd: Who really ran Thanksgiving?

Hi Reader, Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family, if you celebrated. Charlie and I spent Thanksgiving with my parents and their German Shepherd, Parker. I really think Parker and Charlie enjoyed each other's company. It was like they appreciated not being the only pet - Parker previously lived with my parents' Ragdolls, Caymus and Murphy, who passed away in 2020 and 2021. And, of course, Charlie lived with Trigg, who passed in 2024. Charlie is and always has been one of those cats who don't mind dogs, and also one of those cats who can command the dogs he's with in a few seconds. My mom said something like, "I mean, Jenny, he acts as if he has been raised and lived with dogs." It makes it nice and easy to integrate when I am with my parents' dog or my sister's. I have been busy publishing shorts again, and the highlight of this week is my interview with the Two Crazy Cat Ladies - it's a fun one and can be listened to while doing dishes, folding laundry, etc. Never really need to watch those =).

Hi Reader, Hope you and your kitties are safe, happy, and healthy. Charlie and I are ramping up for the warmer weather and all it brings - I think he is less attractive to fleas now, but only flea season will tell us if this is the case.
