Hi Reader, Hope you are doing well. Allergy season is here and in full force. Our pollen count was 11.8 yesterday - and 11.1 today - that's out of 12. Needless to say, I am busy managing Charlie's responses to allergens. I have learned so much from the human body because of Charlie, and I am so thankful for it every day. Look into ailments, get to the root causes - what you will learn will afford you the intelligence to communicate at your own doctor visits. As you know, we are working on a Meow Mobile review and this past week I used the 24/7 vet access app to call in and ask questions!! OMG, it's unreal how awesome it is. Just silly questions that I forget the answers to - like how soon after feeding a German Shepherd, can you play with him? The internet had a wide variance - 1-3 hours. Airvet told me 1 hour. Speaking of allergies - I realized that when Charlie was first diagnosed with anything allergy related - I could have consulted 20 veterinarians if I had wanted to on this thing! How easy is that? Rather I had to call, schedule an appointment, wait for the appointment, listen to him meow in the car for 20-30 minutes and then have like a 20 minute conversation with the vet. And leave with more questions than answers. Some of the veterinarians I have spoken to on this app have talked to me for 45 minutes - and would have talked longer! I mean, that alone...but it doesn't stop there. I have also used to it ask for best tips for sub q fluids - from people that have poked 1.5 billion cats and dogs - their recommendations are amazing. Invaluable. Then I thought - what about those times where you bring your cat home from the vet after a dental, vet is closed and you need to ask a question about the incission looking ok or how to give a drug that the cat is fighting you about - you can ask 3 vets in minutes, if you want! Hi Reader, Hope you are doing well. Happy April Fool's Day! Have you ever played an April Fool's prank? I have seen a few from manufacturers and have thought of doing one for Floppycats, but have never quite figured out what to do that wouldn't cause problems and lots of emails. I finally finished the Kidney Chek video - so grateful to my Aunt, cousin, my sister, and my mom for helping me get all the pets done and filmed for this! It truly is one heck of a review with so many pets =). No joke...
Hi Reader, Hope you are doing well. Charlie saw Dr. Stella, the chiropractor, again last week - there were no Chuckie appearances, however. I’m constantly refilling my Clearly Filtered Water Pitcher—usually 2–3 times a day. I love how it pulls chemicals out of our tap water, keeping things as clean as possible for Charlie and me. Given the kidney cat status, the cleaner the water filtering through them, the better. You can check out my full video review here to see why it’s a staple in our...
