Hi Reader, Hope you and your kitty(ies) are doing well. Charlie is doing well and enjoys snow, so he can go out front and even into the street at midnight when there is no traffic. This is a special treat he is afforded only when it snows quite a bit. It's usually 1-2x a season. He knows it is going to happen too, and starts meowing at the door when he knows I am going out to shovel the snow. Blows my mind that he will be 17 this year and still wants to go out in that mess. Tell me about your kitty struggles and how Floppycats might be able to help. This week's video shows me water vacuuming my couch after our last flea infestation - that I came home to after being out of town - what fun! But on the flip side, it got me to deep clean my furniture with my HYLA water vacuum. I am always amazed at what is lurking in our furniture, carpets, etc. Hope you enjoy. Peace, love, and purrs, Jenny 1. WatchSlurping Up the Scuzz: Hyla Water Vacuum ASMRDealing with the aftermath of a flea infestation is stressful, but the cleanup is incredibly therapeutic. Watch (and listen!) as I use the Hyla water vacuum to pull out every last bit of debris from my couch. Stick around for the end as I prep to remove the couch skirt for a fresh, modern look. It’s gross, it’s satisfying, and it’s finally flea-free!

CatchRocfish Durable Interactive Cat Toys for Indoor Cats Have you tried one of these for your kitty? I am curious if they would tire of them after awhile or not. The Rocfish Smart Automatic Cat Chase Ball is an interactive toy designed to keep indoor cats active, featuring 360° unpredictable movements and an intelligent obstacle-avoidance system. It features three play modes, a wave-textured silicone surface for smooth rolling on carpets, and an upgraded "speedy tail" feather to trigger natural hunting instincts. This USB-C rechargeable toy also includes an auto-standby feature that reactivates with a simple touch, making it an ideal choice for independent play and mental stimulation. 4. ThinkToxic Air Fresheners and Cats Many popular air fresheners, particularly plug-ins and sprays, contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and phthalates that can be highly toxic to cats through inhalation or ingestion during grooming. Exposure to these chemicals can lead to immediate symptoms like coughing, vomiting, and lethargy, or contribute to chronic conditions such as feline asthma and organ damage. To keep your home safe and smelling fresh, try natural alternatives such as cat-friendly herbs, air purifiers, and regular litter box maintenance. 5. MeetAjax – Ragdoll of the Week"Hi, my name is Rebecca and this is my Ajax. Two years ago I had a mental break down that left me suffering panic attacks and anxiety. I was living alone at the time and decided to get a furry companion to help me cope. My family had never had cats before but my landlord wouldn’t allow anything bigger. So I began to research breeds of cats. I was really looking for something that would be fun, loving and good company. A lady I knew had a Ragdoll and having never heard of this breed before I went crazy on google and decided this was the cat for me. In my searching I came across Floppycats and it really gave a lot of useful information and advice." Want to submit your kitty to be featured? See our simple submission guidelines here. |

Hi Reader, Guess what's back?! Do you know about the Chewy deal? I love these deals and take advantage of them whenever they're available. They used to be monthly, but now they are not as frequent. Free $30 eGift Card with $100 purchase with code HAVEFUN. And what's cool is that you can do the deal 3x every time - they vary, though, when it's available. Unfortunately, they don't let you order $300 and get $90 in gift cards; you have to place three separate orders, each slightly over $100. I...
Hi Reader, My Aunt Jean's Hobbs turned 18 on the 1st! Hobbs is the coolest cat I know. See his handsome self here. I took Charlie to the vet last week. First time, I have taken him to see our vet since Trigg died. Well, I take that back - he has seen Dr. Sally a few times when I have needed help giving fluids. Charlie is a kidney cat, and he is also Chucky when it comes to getting fluids. So there are a few people who can actually do it. Dr. Sally and I are the only two so far who have had...
Hi Reader, Hope you and your kitties are safe, happy, and healthy. Charlie and I are ramping up for the warmer weather and all it brings - I think he is less attractive to fleas now, but only flea season will tell us if this is the case. I really hope we can go an entire flea season without getting fleas. It would be lovely. Recent short videos that might be of interest to you: ✨ The 1 in 100 Million Cat Video You Just Found!
